Hello!
Have you starting reading Touching Spirit Bear yet? Before the book even begins, there is a Japanese proverb that says, 'Fall seven times, stand up eight." What does that quote mean to you? Then tell me how far you've read so far and what you think the purpose was of Cole wearing his clothes inside out for the first two weeks of his banishment.

fall down 7 times stand up 8 times to me means that if you fall down 7 times, stand up 8 times.
i think that it means that you should keep trying. And i think he was told to ware his clothes inside out for humilation.
I think it means keep on trying till you get it. It is really good. He has to wear them like that because they want him to feel funny.

We have started Touching Spirit Bear. 'Fall seven times stand up eight' to me means you my fall down or fail something 7 tomes but you should stand up and eight and try again! Cole wore his close inside out to show shame and humilation.
I think that fall seven times get up eight means that you are wanting us to try are best to try to get as many things right as we can and the saying helps.
I am to page 88 and i am loving this book.I think cole put his cloths on inside out because he was trying to make a point.

I think that "fall down seven times stand up eight" meens if you try at something and fail you need to try again.I am also on page 27. I also think Cole had to wear his cloth's in-side-out because he did something that he shouldn't had done and his cloths show how bad that was.
